RESIDENCY AT DELFINA FOUNDATION

—-
During the upcoming residnecy at Delfina Foundation I will be thinking about what the world is becoming and how the platform of the future could look like. I will be following a series of questions about the design of the interfaces we use daily, their materiality and connectedness to other living beings. This would include diving into biophilia, haptic interfaces and the sublime.

AN EXPERIMENTAL SCHOOL PROJECT, AMMAN
IN COLLABORATION WITH NOOR ABED

Supported by Mophradat

The project is a collective experiment that engages with modes of learning and knowledge production beyond the commodified and corporate-appropriated ones. The project is organised in and around everyday knowledge that is situated in the urban sphere. Through inquiry and action it encourages the collective to reflect on how their individual subject positions constitute and are constituted by connection to land and community. It acts as a bridge between institutional modes of learning and community-engaged practices.

The project will use performance as a method to engage with the knowledge situated in people and the city. Through different exercises (i.e.performative methods of walks, interventions, staging situations, detournements, and improvisation of fiction), the formed collective will take control of their own learning through facilitation and experimentation. The project is firmly rooted in a desire to create and sustain a network for radical learning that nurtures non-capitalist, non-hierarchical and community-focused values.
